"I find I do my best work when creating from life experiences. And so, my process involves intense journaling. It is only after journaling that I’m able to excavate through my written words to put together my visual work. Making every piece extremely personal.
It's recently felt (to me) like the world is artificial. Like somehow, people have found a way to all agree on everything, collectively. And the result has made it impossible to relate or connect with others. I want my work to remain transparent to help counteract what's happening. My belief is that transparency leads to relativity. Relativity breeds conversation, and conversation is the spark in the earliest stages of change."
